Phil Ochs: There but for Fortune
I'm looking forward to seeing this film. I've been a fan for many years. I first heard the music of Phil Ochs 40-some years ago in a sly grog shop where the ale flowed freely, and the occasional drop of poitÃn was sampled. The taste for Phil's music outlasted the hangovers, and continues to this day.
Although he's best known for his anti-war and anti-racism songs my personal favourite from his work is "Changes".

Lovely song Jemmy. I've only heard a few of his songs but they certainly grab you inside.
This film may raise the man's profile. I heard a programme on the BBC about him a week or so ago. That's the BBC that wouldn't play his songs when they were topical.
