Tomorrow, 28th April, is Workers' Memorial Day. The following notice is copied from the UCATT site -
"In Hull UCATT official Dave Oglesby will be attending the planting of a remembrance tree at an event along with Lord Mayor and Council Leaders and local business people. Also in attendance will be members of the family of Ray Jessop a local UCATT member who was killed in an accident in December 2009. The event will take place at The Workers Memorial in Queens Gardens at 11.30am."

Why did you post this cretinism here, flem? It's irrelevant and, in my opinion, it shows a callous attitude to the subject of my posting. Knowing your politics I'm assuming it's a deliberate sneer. I've let it through because it reflects badly on you and will make anything else you write less palatable (if that's possible). I may remove it later.
It was meant as a joke, Jemmy. I thought it relevant to our overall discussions.
I meant no disrespect to the subject matter at hand. My aplogies.

A team of tissue-engineering scientists at the Lung and Tuberculosis Center at Tehran's Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and Health Services carried out the transplant on a 29-year-old woman who had lost her trachea in a car accident two years ago.
The researchers used bio artificial materials instead of stem cells and injected them directly into the trachea to make a good architecture of the organ.
