I haven't seen a movie/photo of J.P Cassel for decades, so it's a bit of a surprise to see how he aged/evolved..But I saw his son's "La Haine" where he was incredibly convincing and very strange, haunted!..Btw, The director of La Haine, Mathieu Kassowitz is the son of Peter also a movie director..I'm saying this becasuse I played an Egyptian businessman in one of his TV films (forgot the name).Mathieu, a teenager then was often around giving his dad a hand.. I still have the excerpt I appeared in on a VCR somewhere. Those were the days.
"Grandad's swearing at the telly..." (Alan Klein, "What a Crazy World.")
Old, tired and somewhat disillusioned, but trying to keep up standards. Aware that capitalism cannot be reformed, but despairing of its dissolution in the near future, I use whatever means are available to me to avoid capitulation. I join forces with other resisters in the Industrial Workers of the World.
