Americans put up with a lot before they get mad….. is it finally happening?
You didn’t get mad when the Supreme Court stopped a legal recount and appointed a President.
You didn’t get mad when Cheney allowed Energy company officials to dictate energy policy.
You didn’t get mad when a covert CIA operative got outed.
You didn’t get mad when the Patriot Act got passed.
You didn’t get mad when we illegally invaded a country that posed no threat to us.
You didn’t get mad when we spent over 600 billion(and counting) on said illegal war.
You didn’t get mad when over 10 billion dollars just disappeared in Iraq.
You didn’t get mad that the government spends 3 Billion dollars a year to support an oppressive apartheid regime in Israel.
You didn’t get mad when you found out we were torturing people.
You didn’t get mad when the government was illegally wiretapping Americans.
You didn’t get mad when we didn’t catch Bin Laden.
You didn’t get mad when you saw the horrible conditions at Walter Reed.
You didn’t get mad when we let a major US city, New Orleans, drown.
You didn’t get mad when we gave a 900 billion tax break to the rich.
You didn’t get mad when the deficit hit the trillion dollar mark.
You finally got mad when the government decided that people in America deserved the right to see a doctor if they are sick. Yes, illegal wars, lies, corruption, torture, stealing your tax dollars to make the rich richer, are all okay with you, but helping other Americans…oh hell no.

This is absurd Jemmy. No one has a 'right' to see or be helped by a doctor. Its not a right! Its not in the consitution, its simply a dream by socialist/commies who think just being born entitles one to all kinds of goodies.
Its a hard life Jemmy. Everyone has to take care of themselves. I dont have responsibility for you, nor you for me. What really is so hard to understand about that?
I repeat: Life is hard. The Govt's job is not to make life easy for people. The soomer everyone understands that the better.

Look, if you want to help others, even those you dont know, or dont even like, be my guest. You are absolutley free to do so, in however and whatever you like. Clearly.
But the govt has no business telling me, or you, or anyone, that they MUST BE responsible for other human beings. ITs none of the govt's business!
People say tax bad behavior, that will discourage it. I disagree. Let bad behavior lead to its own logical conclusion. Dont take care of yourself, eat poorly, not exercise, fine. An early death is the ultimate motivator.
And the $3 billion per annum to Israel? That welfare handout gets the thumbs-up from you, does it flem? Do you know that Israel has a national health service? Your tax dollars are supporting that piece of "socialist" intervention in the natural order. Get out and protest about that.
I know it's no good trying to persuade you of the insanity of world in which social darwinism shapes human relations - but do you honestly believe that evolution and all of human development and advancement does not allow us to distance ourselve from the animal world and develop relationships based on more than an internecine stuggle for control of the necessities of life?
The Nazis believed in a master race whose innate superiority permitted them to exploit, enslave and slaughter so-called lesser breeds. They paid for their hubris when the lesser breeds acted collectively to kick their Teutonic arses. But those lunatic ideas have not died out - have they?
The US govt spends billions and billions of dollars in ways that I likely disapprove. Israel's dollars are mostly spent buying US made arms and munitions. Thus its really sort of a subsidy for the US arms manufacturers. Im Ok with that. We need to be strong.
SO lets see Jemmy. I decide I want to quit work and spend most of my time eating ice cream and watching tv. You, on the other hand, are a hard working guy. But yet, under your model, you are partially responsible for paying for my healthcare needs. You are Ok with that?
Its an extreme example Jemmy, I know. But the point is, its simply unsustainable to make it so that poor choices by one group must be paid for by another. Eventually the working folks will revolt and cutoff the parasites.
And really, we have to go to master race analogies? Really? I dont care if a person is black brown short tall fat skinny bald full head of hair, etc. If an INDIVIDUAL can provide value add services beyond their cost and add to the economic output, then I support them.

No pressure, flem. If you mean my "I reposted this", it was my clumsy way of saying that I'd copied the AACS post to my blog. If that's not what you're referring to I'm at a loss.
How come you approve of a subsidy (indirect) from the taxpayer to the merchants of death? Let them compete or let them go to the wall. That's the true free market stance. Anyway, I thought you "cold dead hands" freaks believed in a people's militia? I don't see why you should have it both ways, militias AND a standing army.
I believe in personal freedom over govt supplied security (which always comes at the cost of limiting freedom).
I will support cutting off funding for Israel --- when all other funding is cut off as well -- be it to Haiti, Africa, Palestine, wherever. Then they could all compete with each other on an equal basis.
Unfortunately, in this day of high tech modern weapons and WMDs, a true people's militia doesnt have much chance of winning the day in a truly national confrontation. Govt does serve a necessary purpose in its protection of the union. This requires a professional warrior class. Citizen soldiers can fill in under dire circumstances but pros are best suited for most of the senior leadership positions.
